These are a few suggestions for where to go once you are on the Holonet. Since anyone can create a channel, at any time, there will be more options than what you see here. However, these are the channels that have been around and have owners that requested to be listed here. Please keep in mind that the channel founders wrote their own descriptions, so it can be a little biased. Enjoy.

#Help

The official channel for help and info on the Holonet. Operators are here to help out those that are new to the Holonet or IRC in general.

#cantina

The cantina is the oldest chat room on the server and it shows. Acceptance is hard. Not recommended for the inexperienced

#Downtime

The Holonet lounge for pilots, tech freaks, and information brokers. Check out the channel website at: http://holonet.org/downtime/

#EpisodeII

The official chat channel of EpisodeII.com. This is a general Star Wars discussion, focusing on episode II news and rumors.

#Jedi-Temple

A cool RPG chat channel. Train to become a jedi knight! Visit the webpage! http://jedi-temple.virtualave.net/

#MJ's_Lounge

Usually the starting room for all Holonet newbies. The Lounge is the second oldest room on Holonet and is a more open room than the cantina. While we tolerate some stupidity, we have our limits. The website is located at http://mjslounge.coruscant-sp.com/.

#MosEisley

The official chat channel of MosEisley.com. General chat from their web fans as well as event room for their Star Wars author interviews.

#NataliePortman

A channel for Natalie Portman fans. Please ask The IRC Ops for information on the chatroom or visit the webpage for more info. http://www.queenamidala.com/ and http://natlieportman.fans.net/

#Niko's_landing

A nice channel(Master_Niko is the founder)to chat at. Webpage coming soon.

#Senate

One of the newer rooms on the HoloNet. Most of us are former patrons of the lounge who wanted to start over. We despise nearly all PadmeJava users, and frankly we are more than a bit frightened by them. Aditionaly, we have a website at http://northernbay.com/senate/. Go and learn about some of our history, some commands for our channel bot and don't forget to take a look at a few famous quotes from our very own noelle.

General Star Wars talk. This channel was founded by and for brazilians, but everyone is welcome to chat. Founded by Dark and Apocalypse.

It has a not at all serious page at http://nifityni.dyndns.org/chan/ It is for general chatting and annoyance principles, and is occasionally used as the out-of-character room for AD&D
